モミジガサって知ってますか？

これも友人から頂いた山菜です。こちらでは聞いたこと無かったけど、東日本ではわりとポピュラーで人気の山菜なのだとか。見た目は大きな紅葉の葉っぱのよう。空芯菜をもう少しほろ苦くしたような感じで、上品な味です。
おひたしや、天ぷらでも食べるそうですが、今回は鶏肉と炒めてみました。

This is another wild vegetable I got from a friend. I had never heard of it before, but it is popular in eastern Japan. It looks like a big maple leaf. The taste is light, a bit like water spinach, with a slight bitterness.

You can eat it boiled or as tempura, but this time I stir-fried it with chicken.
